EuroJackpot PyLab

Coding the lottery. Keeping it human.

Disclaimer

EuroJackpotPyLab and the book Code the Jackpot are about data analysis, modelling, and organised play. They are not financial advice, investment advice, or a promise of any specific outcome.

All content on this site—including text, charts, scripts, tools, downloads, and examples—is offered for informational, educational, and entertainment purposes only. The site owner and the author of Code the Jackpot are not financial advisors, lottery experts, or certified statisticians.

By visiting this website, using its tools, reading its articles, or applying anything you find here in your own play, you accept and agree to the terms in this disclaimer.

What this project does

EuroJackpotPyLab:

  • Downloads and processes historical EuroJackpot draws.
  • Builds statistical features on combinations and studies patterns in the full 5-out-of-50 space.
  • Filters the full space into reduced pools based on user-defined rules and historical data.
  • Offers random packs drawn from those reduced pools, so that you do not have to pick numbers manually.
  • Shares code snippets, scripts, and examples so that technically minded users can reproduce or adapt the analysis on their own machines.
  • Encourages a structured, “lab style” approach to lottery play: log your choices, test ideas on history, and treat everything as an experiment.

All models, scripts, tables, and suggestions on this site are best seen as opinions and experiments, not as professional advice.

What this project does not do

EuroJackpotPyLab does not:

  • Guarantee any prize, profit, hit rate, or specific outcome, under any circumstance.
  • Turn EuroJackpot or any other lottery into a source of regular income.
  • Offer professional investment, financial, legal, or gambling counselling.
  • Sell, validate, or process official lottery tickets.
  • Act as, or replace, an official lottery operator or any regulated gambling provider.
  • Accept responsibility for your personal play decisions, your stake size, or your gambling habits.

Any decision to buy lottery tickets, play specific numbers, or increase or decrease your spending is your own decision, taken at your own risk.

No guarantees, no magic systems

Lotteries are games of chance. Every draw is independent. No strategy, system, feature set, or model—no matter how clever or data-driven—can guarantee a winning outcome.

The tools and methods on this site may help you avoid some very weak combinations, focus on certain structural patterns you like, or simply make your play more organised and transparent.

They do not flip the built-in edge of the lottery in your favour in any guaranteed way. On average, players lose money in lottery games. That remains true even if you use every script and idea from EuroJackpotPyLab.

Responsible gambling

This site treats the lottery as a form of entertainment. That means:

  • You play with money you can comfortably afford to lose.
  • You never use rent, bills, savings, or borrowed funds as gambling money.
  • You keep an eye on how much time and energy this hobby takes from your life.

If gambling starts to create stress, conflict, secrecy, or financial pressure, please stop. Talk to someone you trust. If needed, reach out to a professional or a recognised support organisation in your country that deals with gambling problems.

The goal here is curiosity, learning, and a bit of structured fun around EuroJackpot. Not worry, not obsession.

Accuracy, completeness, and technical issues

The site owner puts real effort into keeping the data, code, and explanations current and reasonably accurate. Still:

  • Historical draws may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors.
  • Scripts and tools may contain bugs or behave differently in other environments.
  • Feature definitions, models, and strategies may change over time as the project evolves and new ideas are tested.

No guarantee is given that any page, file, or script on this site is complete, error-free, or suitable for your specific purposes. You should double-check any result that matters to you and, if you are using code, review and test it yourself.

Affiliates, links, and external services

EuroJackpotPyLab may contain references or links to:

Such links can help financially support the project and keep new content coming. They do not change the substance of the analysis or the opinions expressed on the site. Any sponsored or affiliate relationships will be disclosed where required by law or platform rules.
